About GODO – Who We Are

<p>Global Orphanage Development Organization (GODO) is a community-based non-governmental organization headquartered in Tengeru, Akeri Ward, Arumeru District, Arusha, Tanzania. We are registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 of 2002 and operate throughout Arusha City, working directly with children, families, schools, clinics and fellow organizations.We exist because too many children in our communities grow up without the safety of a home, the dignity of a classroom, or a trusted adult to guide them. GODO was created to change that story — one child, one family, one future at a time. We work with vulnerable, marginalized, voiceless, underprivileged and disadvantaged children, including girls and young women who face the greatest barriers to opportunity.**Our Vision:**
A community where every child — regardless of circumstance — grows up as a responsible, self-reliant member of society, participating fully in economic and social activities while enjoying their full rights, in happiness and dignity.**Our Mission:**
